Babe Ruth Dual Signed Canceled Check, Dec 21st 1936, w/ JSA LOA (PWCC)

Incredible Ruth Check - Signed & Endorsed (Two Autos)

Very scarce and attractive dual signed Ruth check, beautifully completed in black fountain pen. A stunning offering which ranks among the more attractive Ruth canceled checks in the hobby. Not only is this a check from his playing days in the 1930s, but also features his personalized 'Babe Ruth' tag along the Chemical Bank check's left border. Best of all, Ruth's 'G.H. Ruth' auto is featured twice on both the signature line and the far left reverse as an endorsement. Overall condition appears to be EX from the front. The reverse shows some paper loss and faint toning from once being mounted in an album or similar display piece. This back damage appear to lightly affect the G.H. Ruth endorsement auto in two small areas. A small piece of tape has been applied to the back to repair a small edge tear (visible on the front just above the '4176' along the top left edge).
