ARDATH Swiss 18K Rose Gold Ladies 21 jewels WATCH, Gift from a King For Sale

This fine casual style watch was manufactured and purchased in Switzerland. It has a very interesting story... re-how I acquired it new in the early 60\'s. I will share the story with the buyer after the purchase. The current fluctuation in the price per gramof gold is difficult to keep up with. According to several jewelers, Ardath Swiss watches usually retail between $900 to $2000+.

• Description: As seen in the photos, the registration identification is engraved on the back of the rose gold case. This is a wind-up watch which has 21 precious jewels in the movement, and with the exception of the crystal, is composed totally of 18 carat solid rose gold. It does need a new leather strap in the color of your choice. Looks great with a black or dark brown strap.
  
• Measurement: Case is approximately 7/8\" plus the stem. With rose gold markers at all hours, there is a separate second hand window at the 6 o\'clock position. It is designed to fit a small to average wrist with the current leather strap. ( A new strap is recommended)
• Condition: There are light scratches about the watch case with some brush marks on the crystal. I\'m not sure what the composition of the crystal is. A competent jeweler can buff out most of the light marks. There are no deep cuts nor marks. It is in very good condition and does work. A complete watch cleaning would be a good idea, however.
