antique/vintage weights set for analytical balance, Central Scientific, in box For Sale

I buy vintage linens at local estate sales and recently found some cool vintage stuff.This is a boxed set of brass weights for an analytical balance. It was made by Central Scientific Co. of Chicago. The wooden box measures 4.5 by 4 by 2\" and has a hinged top with front closure as shown. Inside, the box is lined with black velvet. There is a pair of tweezers and a glass plate. The weights inside are: 100g, 50g, 20g, 10g, 5g, 2 1g, and 0.5g. There is an empty well for another 10g weight, which has gone missing. Under the glass plate there are wells for more weights or for transferring weights. Inside the lid there\'s a paper with a careful notation of actual readings for these weights, taken on 3/16/95.This is in good vintage condition. The inside is good, with the exception of the missing weight. The box shows definite wear: there is a crack in the top and a bit of a ring on the top, as if someone placed a coffee cup there. It definitely looks used! It has a great collectible look.I am storing this in my smoke-free home, but I do have a cat who sheds copiously, so be aware if you have allergies.
