Lovely and well preserved antique wooden doll by Schoenhut. Doll measures 19\" tall and is jointed wood with springs for flexibility.There is no identifying sticker, rather the maker\'s mark is stamped in the wood. Stamped in the wood \"Schoenhut Doll/Jan. 17 11 U.S.A./& Foreign Countries\" on the back.
Wear as to be expected for age including missing paint and/or rubs, mainly on right arm and head. All fingers and toes intact but missing paint on left toes. Missing paint on head and no wig; lightly occluded eyes (appear to be inset into wood, but not sure, please use photos for best Some random nails and nail holes overall...not sure if doll is missing nails or ones were added, but they do not detract from the doll.
Joints are tight and pose well.
Does not come with a wig.
