up for consideration is anAntique Violin Or Fiddle Wooden \"coffin\" Case...this is a steam bent arch top design...possibly a GSB make...no markings found...one clasp missing the other not functional...top handle design...couple of missing pieces of wood on the steamed bends (see pics)...basswood or poplar probably...refinish began many years ago on the top lid...original red felt inside in fair condition...set of strings and bridge and shims come with it...great bones for a refurbish project to store that old fiddle of violin...measures 31\" x 9 1/2\" x 5 1/4 (arch) 4 1/2\" (nose)....
