Antique Silk Top Hat - Royal Seals - Deutsche Industrie - SPECIAL HAT For Sale

This is a most unique top hat.. Its in its original hat box. I googled the name on the box and I found the following - (Deutsche Industrie)
Hauptmann, Carl (Obersalzbrunn, 1858-1921, Schreiberhau, Silesia), the less well-known elder brother of G. Hauptmann, and son of a Silesian hotelier, studied science at Jena and Zürich universities. After two years (1889-91) in Berlin, he settled for the rest of his life in the small mountain resort of Schreiberhau in the Riesengebirge.
THIS IS VERY INTERESTING BECAUSE THE HAT APPEARS TO HAVE BELONG TO CARL HAUPTMANN - THERE IS ALSO VERY INTERESTING SEALS STAMPED IN THIS HAT... I am finally letting it go...because it on my to do list and I don\'t think - I will ever get around to solving the mystery of this hat - this hat is also retractable.
