This original Seth Thomas heavybrass ship\'s clock weighs 4 lbs./12 oz. The top cover unscrews togain access to the winding mechanism. In working condition. The original key was not found, so I bought a universal key that I will send to you with the purchase of this fineantique.
After much research I could not find another clockidentical to this,similar but not the same. This item was made anywhere from 1800 to 1930.Please, send me a note if you knowwhat year thisclockmay have been manufactured.This is a wonderfuland unique maritime collectible!
Includes three black handsplus black numbers seton an ivory colored face. This coveted brass clock has a 5 3/4\" diameter base, 5 1/4\" diameter cover and is 2 1/2\" high.
Lightly aged patina, a rubbed chip on underside of glass cover (as seen in pic #7)along with other light spots, some paint residue along thin bottom edge.
