Antique Leather Fire Helmet w Eagle & Shield BFD Hose Director HCNo2 For Sale

I have had this helmet for over 30 years. It is a major part of my fire collection which I will be selling off a little at a time. It is a Cairns leather, high eagle. Look closely at the pictures I have taken of the tags, emblems etc. and overall condition.It is dusty and needs cleaned. The paint loss and age have been there since I have owned it. This is a GREAT collectors piece. It is getting VERY difficult to find helmets of this age in presentable condition.PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE offerDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have described this helmet well and will offer no refunds. Condition: This helmet is Awesome, but has condition issues associated with it\'s extreme age. It has paint missing all over, the leather is very dry and brittle and cracking in parts. A few of the leather letters are missing from the shield. The brim wire is starting to show on the UNDERSIDE of the front of the brim. The Eagle is in pretty nice shape. Not all bent up, but it is tarnished. Look closely at the pictures what you see is what you get.
