one of the rarest door of hope dolls. the field worker! all original, including damaged original white china tag still in original place on body. approx 12 inches tall. this one is one of the few that was made with wood carved feet and hands to hold! there are straw sticks in one...the amazing part is that most of all the straw is still in place, and still maintains the folds over the shoulders. the hat is in place, with original string and in amazing hand made condition!!!! the wonderful face, is one of a kind, hand carved with intaglio eyes and carved ears and hair! cloth body is all original as is hand sewn clothing. doll has to be cleaned...
came to me with a faceless antique cloth rag doll with hand made clothing and shoes. lace matches undies and hat. hat is hanging off on cloth doll, needs a stitch, and outer part of hat on cloth doll looks to be made of raw cotton and is quite worn and needs cleaning as on the one hand. anyway, it\'s a gift for the winner of this really nice antique wooden door of hope doll.i\'m sure you all know the story of these dolls, so i won\'t post it here, instead i have added photos.sold as is. no refunds, no returns, and NO odors :-)
