Beautiful copper, brass and wood chafing dish / warming station. The mark of \"Townshends, Ltd.\" is from Great Britain and could date to 1904, per the marks on this piece. It requires a liquid fuel in the fuel container. This lidded copper fuel container is marked \"SIGG\" Switzerland.
Item 16\" long by 7\" wide by 6\" tall. It weighs a little over 6 pounds. The framework is brass, legs are also brass with nice details. The warming surface is hammered copper. This copper platform slides apart to get to the fuel. The fuel container and lid are also copper. The handles at the ends are a dark wood in a brass frame. This is an antique so there are marks of its age, as we all have.
