Antique 19th CT Plains Indian Native American Tacked Sheath Bowie Knife For Sale

Right off the bat, I think these will look awesome once they are cleaned up!! I do not know how to clean knives or leather sheaths so, I am not going to touch them. I believe these are Plains Indian pieces, possibly Blackfoot? These come from an old estate in Galveston, TX. There were many interesting and unusual Native American artifacts. These were in the display case as pictured when I bought them -and looked like they had been for several decades. Possibly from a museum collection? There was a number on the back as if it had been catologued. The knife is heavy for its size. The leather sheath is still pliable and I would guess it\'ll have a beautiful, rich patina once cleaned up. I took them out of the display to photograph. The bowie knife is 14-1/2\" and the sheath is almost 10-3/4\". They each have two shallow marks from having been gently screwed into place. The shipping is for the two pieces only-if you want the showcase frame-the shipping will be higher. *note*
