SECTION B:

SHIPPING “INSURANCE vs DECLARED VALUE” POLICY: The following is our policy for Shipping/Claims/Insurance. BUYER is required to read and understand, especially for high ticket or fragile items.


BUYER RESPONSIBILITY IN A SHIPPING CLAIM: In the event of an “insurance claim”, the BUYER is 100% responsible for:

  1. Filing a claim to the courier and following any and all steps to the completion of said claim. A properly processed claim will generate the BUYERs proper refund towards them. If BUYER did NOT request coverage prior to sale/purchase,
  2. Send at least 5 pictures to the SELLER as proof that the item is damaged and that a claims process has begun towards the courier. BUYER will also need these same pictures to submit to and/or courier.
  3. Retain the shipping package and the SHIPPING LABEL - label contains tracking and other pertinent information needed for a claim.
  4. The SELLER will do nothing in regards to any claim of damage or loss; once the package has been placed in the hands of any courier, it becomes their responsibility for the condition it arrives in and where.

BUYER: upon receiving your package, take pictures especially if there is any visible damage as compared to pics sent by the SELLER. Continue to take pics or video of opening the package to document potential damage in real time.

  1. BUYER is responsible for reading and understanding the guidelines provided under chosen courier. They all vary. For example: FedEx does not regard this as “insurance” but rather “declared value”. ie: FEdEx may not value the cost of your item as much as you paid for it.
  2. AGAIN, the BUYER will assume all responsibility to process and document any form of claim for damage, loss, etc to a purchased item.


SELLER RESPONSIBLITY IN A SHIPPING CLAIM:

  1. FOR FRAGILE - EXPENSIVE items or items that exceed the basic embedded courier coverage for additional insurance (which is normally $50), the SELLER will send at least 5 pictures of the item sold, its packing process/package and receipt within the Seller/Buyer email forum.

*The BUYER will need these pictures as documentation for claims, especially the courier receipt.

  1. SELLER will only become involved with a claim process to simply provide confirmation that the item was packaged properly, hence the photographs sent prior to shipping.
  2. In the event the refund is misdirected to the SELLER, SELLER will transfer refund to the BUYER.


SECTION C:

SHIPPING INSURANCE OR DECLARED VALUE COVERAGE: will be applied only when stated in the item specifics. If BUYER deems posted item to be of a delicate or fragile nature and should require shipping insurance, then BUYER must aoffere by these rules and request such to be added prior to purchase. BUYER will be charged the cost of S.I. based upon the selling price of item. If BUYER purchases item without S.I. and item arrives damaged due to carrier negligence - responsibility rest upon the BUYER for not requesting S.I. — DO NOT expect any refund, exchange or return in such case. THIS IS YOUR WARNING - BUYER HAS RESPONSIBILITIES AS MUCH AS THE SELLER. This posted item does NOT include shipping insurance unless noted within primary description or agreed to within negotiations; It must be requested by buyer, prior to acceptance of any offer or offer.


SECTION D:

SHIPPING INSURANCE IS NEVER APPLIED OR EVEN AN OPTION TO INTERNATIONAL SALES.

This changes with courier policy. If the courier has an embedded insurance amount, most likely, it is a ‘fixed’ amount and cannot be increased. Any claims on an International purchase with or without insurance or inadequate insurance coverage, will be the 100% responsibility of the BUYER to process and complete. SECTION E:

COMBINED SHIPPING: We do COMBINED shipping. IF there is an issue with , please allow us to send the revised combined shipping invoice as opposed to the automatic invoice the sends. If you make payment on the automatic invoice and the revised invoice costs more, you will be billed and required to pay the up-charge. Reason being, it’s nearly impossible for estimator to calculate odd shaped items and weights in a combined package; let us figure that out for you.

I only ship to the confirmed address listed on your PayPal payment. If you want to ship to a different address, please update your PayPal address before making any purchase! International buyers welcome. Please contact me for shipping rate prior to placing offer/purchase if there is no Int Shipping posted. Peru is always an issue with shipping .... we don\'t get it either.

SALE VOIDED OR REMOVAL OF POSTING: These items are in our local store for sale. Rare, but it does happen, any item may sell in-house only to have an online purchase of same item shortly thereafter (before we can remove the post from ). If this does happen, your purchase will be fully refunded and the order cancelled.

SHIPPING PICTURES: Frequently, customers receive pictures of their purchased item while being packaged for shipping prior to the item being shipped, especially with high priced or delicate items. We don’t accept returns unless the post notates such. Most items are vintage, antique, pre-owned. Occasionally returns are processed when presented with fairness. In the case of a potential return, these guidelines MUST be followed to the “T”. Any infraction WILL VOID the return, so stay in line:

In the event of a legitimate return:

  1. Customer must provide as many pictures to us, of the item in question, if requested by us. If no resolve is made within the initial discussion, we proceed to the following….
  2. Customer MUST send at least 5 pictures OR MORE if requested by us, of the item from all angles and its packing including the final taped package with return label PRIOR to shipping the package. Pictures of the item must match the original condition as compared to the original posting; pending there was no shipping or careless damage caused by customer or courier.
  3. Once these images are approved by us, we will send prepaid return label within the message forum.
  4. Customer has 2 days to ship the return package, post mark will provide the proof.
  5. Once item is received, it will be examined to be in same condition as pictures provided by customer. If item is approved for return, a full or partial refund will be issued. If there is any issue with the item, pics will be sent back to the customer in order to bring to a final resolve.


Damaged Items will NOT be recognized if filed under a RETURNS claim. This is not the proper procedure.
