ANTIQUE 1800\'s ? SAFE - HALL\'S SAFE & LOCK CO. VERY HEAVY!!. This safe is approx. 22\" x 28\" x 23\". I got this while cleaning out an estate of a 92 year old woman. From my limited research this safe is from the late 1800\'s but I am not positive. This safe is extremely heavy and will not be shipped. This must be picked up in southern New Jersey. This safe is open and I have what I have been told is the correct combination. The dial does turn but gets stuck at a certain point. I was able to get inside the dial from the inside and I was able to get the dial and the handle to turn. I could find nothing obviously wrong with it. I put it all back together exactly as it was and it still gets jammed. I am not a locksmith nor do I know anything about safes. This safe would be great for use as is or to be restored.
