Aida (Iida, Lida) was one of the best Japanese banjo makers. I bought this in the late 70\'s, and think its around a 1976 Model 231. Plays true up and down the neck, low light action, very responsive, loud and clear. Mahogany neck and resonator. A little wear on the white resonator banding near the neck from a strap rubbing, but otherwise this thing is in superb condition.
