This is an Allis Chalmers 2 row no till corn planter. It is 3 point hitch, catagory 1.
This planter is in field ready condition. It presently has a set of lustran adaptors in it, with lustran plates. You can use lustran or John Deere plates with the adaptors (and they are cheaper). Or you can take the adaptors out and use Allis plates. That way It will plantanything that Allis Chalmers, lustran, or John Deere makes a plate for includingsweet corn, beans, milo and sugar cane, for a few examples. The planter can also be used for conventional till. All you have to do is raise the no till coulters up.
We send our Allis no till planters out with their down pressure springs on the units. Therewill be one visible in the picture (we will add more pics tomorrow); there are 2 on each unit. These springs are part ofwhat makes it a no tillplanter, as they apply downward pressure to the planter units. Notice what great condition the no till coultersare in. The seed row disks on one unit are new, and the others are like new. Of course, the no till coulters are what makes it no till, as they dig the trench the seed goes in.Ifthesecoulters are worn out, they won't dig too good. I have no concerns about the ones on this planter, as they are in great shape.
Notice the hot pink reflector tape on the seed boxes in the pictures. I put it on there for a purpose. This is so you can see our planter, and not confuse it with any others. Others have copied our style of pictures till it's hard to distinguish ours. So top that one! Hot pink ought to separate it. It easy to pull off if you don't want it there.
The planter is presently set on 30" rows. If you desire wider rows, all you have to do is move the coulters and the units. It is possible to make it a little narrower, but I quitat 30".No tillplanters are great machines, as you don't have to till the ground. Justspray with whatever you are spraying with and plant your crop. It sure cuts down on time and money. I recommend at least a 40 horse power tractor with these planters.
The starting offer is 995.00, and there is .
