Very beautiful 4 keyed bone mounted boxwood flute most likely from around the 1820s, stamped on all 4 joints: Preston, London. Boxwood seems in good condition, 4 bone rings and one bone head cap seem in nice condition but a couple very small chips and one bone ring was replaced later, and 4 very nice brass keys that need cleaning and new pads and springs seem to work. Measurements: total length 59.8 cm, length of head 22.6 cm, embouchure 1.1 cm, middle of embouchure to end 53.1 cm. Sold as is.
