Nice lot of 3 mortising chisels in very good, barely used condition. Steel is pretty clean - just has some finish loss, and the edges have recently been honed and may just need a slight touch up. The handles are in great condition as well. Although these are the same style and maker, two are marked Marples and the third is marked Record Marples. Shipping is expensive and this is the reason why. We only ship out of the USA via priority mail. This is because we can print the shipping label and export documents from our computer. If we ship airmail, although it is less expensive, it requires us to fill out the address and the customs document longhand. Additionally, when you are mailing it 1st class we have to go to the post office and pay for the shipping there. Both of these are quite time consuming. Priority mail also gives free insurance as well as exceptional tracking. Both of which are benefits for you the customer and us the shipper.
I have notice that at least one time the shipping calculator did not work properly. Please email for shipping quotes if it seems unusually low or high.
