Many who sell know this but I’m explaining this to the people who don’t. When I list a card I pick the condition type. It can be acceptable, good, very good like new or brand new. I almost always list IN THE MIDDLE on my cards even if they are better! The following is what I refer to as VERY GOOD. It may not be not be centered. It may have a few MINOR surface specks or very minor corner or edge wear. Some of the prizms/chrome cards will have surface scratches or marks. If it’s real bad I rated lower than very good BUT I can find a scratch on almost any of the prizm or chrome cards I look at. I don’t rate many cards like new because there are slight defects in most of them or they would all rate 10’s. I take EXCELLENT pictures and I rate very good even if I don’t find anything wrong.. If it’s too bad I rate lower. I am human and will miss something occasionally. I average about one issue per 750 sales and I ALWAYS resolve it.
