2 Antique Victorian Carved Painted Wooden Dragon Architectural Salvage Pieces For Sale

This is a fantastic pair of 49 1/2\" long antique wooden dragon head architectural pieces, eachwith carved and painted features on both sides. The paint looks original and is quite chipped and weathered. The wood is weathered and shows some shrinkage and cracking from age and there is achunk of wood missing from the back of one of the dragon\'s necks (shown in the photos)and a few other chips, but both are sold, sturdy, and perfectly useable. They have a charming vintage look and could be used for a variety of decorative purposes. They bothhave screw holes along the flat bottom edge of the neck where they were once attached to a building. They measure 49 1/2\" fromthe point on topto pointon the bottom, 13\" across the face area,19 1/2\" across the flat edge at the bottom of the neck, and the wood is 1 3/8\" thick.
