1986 Cincinnati 208U CNC lathe - parts or repair For Sale

This was a great lathe, in its day. We have had the machine since new and it still occupies the same floor space where it was installed. The last few years have seen long stretches of time when the machine was not used and with that it developed the normal phantom electrical problems. Odd error messages when you boot it up and you have to jiggle boards and wires to get it up and running. Then it would be fine as long as you keep it running everyday. But it\'s time to upgrade so I need to move this puppy out in the next week or two. All the books that came with the machine as still on hand. The setup wrenches and spare parts are included. The machine weighs about 7000 lbs and we do not have a fork truck large enough to load it, so you will have to handle rigging. My asking price is probably below salvage value, especially if you have need for the electronics. The boards and such are really hard to come by. This machine has the controls, and name, from Cincinnati Milacron but was built on the Hitachi Seiki iron. A very high class Japanese brand in the day. Great parts machine, retrofit lathe or you can even fix the electronics and this lathe will pump out good parts for years to come. Don\'t like my price? Please make an offer.
