1960\'s Cox Gas Piper Comanche Control Line Airplane .15 Sportsman Engine For Sale

Up for offer is a 1960\'s Cox control line airplane. This is the beautiful Piper Comanche Cox made from 1960 to about 1964. This was a larger plane than most of the Cox models and has a 32\" wingspan with a .15 size Sportsman engine. If you are looking at this then I am sure you know what these are and how rare they are. Airplane is in great condition with good colors and the decals are present. Surface has typical light scratches. All parts for the airplane appear to be there. There are a few minor issues. There is a small crack near the rear stabilizer in the fuselage. The new owner can either repair this or leave it go. The landing gear axles and control line metal wires have surface rust on them that should be cleaned up. There are also no people for the cockpit. Everything else is in good shape but shows the typical condition of a model that is 50 plus years old. This is a wonderful example that will look great displayed in any Cox collection.

NOTE: There is a reserve. I may decide to pull the reserve depending on the offer prices.
