1950\'s KITCHEN STEP STOOL Virtue RETRACTABLE Avocado MID CENTURY Ladder Chair For Sale

Hereis a vintage 1950\'s retractable kitchen step stool/chair with the original avocado green vinyl seat cushion and back, made by Virtue Brothers Manufacturing Co. This chair was found in a 1930\'s era farm house. It is in very good condition considering how old it is--there are no holes in the vinyl cushion or the seat back, the avocado color is bright with no signs of fading. The steps are wood, they have expected typical wear but no soft spots or rot--they look like they may have been painted at some point over the years. The metal frame and decorative gold-colored wire supports have typical wear and patina for the vintage. This chair is stable and sturdy, it is in great working condition. The step section retracts and extends easily. Allphotos are of the actual item I am selling here. Everything thatis included in this sale is shown in the photos. Please note: I will be shipping this item fully assembled--the shipping box is large and heavy, that is why the shipping and handling rate is higher than normal.
