This sale is for a late 1940\'s classic West German hunting and fighting knife with the original leather sheath, marked on the knife: BOWIE - EDGE MARK - SOLINGEN GERMANY - 469 - and marked on the sheath: EDGE MARK - WEST GERMANY - This famous top quality knife has a genuine stag horn handle and a very sharp high carbon stainless steel blade. It is in excellent condition appearing barely used and showing the original mirror finish. The sheath is also in near excellent condition with light storage wear and a little of the green part scuffed off. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. This knife measures 13 5/8\" with an 8 1/4\" blade and in the sheath the weight is 1 lb.
