Beautiful navy serving tray. Reed andBarton silver plate. There are some scratches on front and back from normal wear as well as a small maybe 3/8 of an inch area where the silver has rubbed off. See Picture number 3. Two stars and \"U.S.N.\" stamped in center of tray identify it as a part of aRear Admiral\'s mess. Back of tray stamped with \"Reed & Barton, Silver Soldered, 2900\" There is a small embossed cannon above the Reed and Barton which I believe dates the tray to 1940.
