1938 Mills Vest Pocket 5 cent Slot Machine Plus Edition with 40 Circulated Buffalo Nickels

Here is a very nice Mills Vest Pocket Plus 5 cent slot machine in good working condition. The machine has always paid out correctly and still does. The difference between the regular edition and the plus edition is that the plus has a higher payout when the jackpot is hit but it does not hit the jackpot as often. They also did not make as many plus editions as they did the regular edition. The finish is very nice and is also I believe original. They way it looks now is exactly the way I purchased it. The barrel lock and key are new and it looks like some of the springs and the reel strips may have been replaced. The mech works very good never jamed but once it a while it does get a little hard to push in at this point you may want to lubricate the machine with 3 in 1 oil, some use WD40. The collector I purchased it from had a huge collection, he had slot machines in every room of his house even in the kitchen and bathrooms and all of his slot machines were original and working. They only thing he would change are the things the would get worn out over time like springs etc. He was a former slot technician in Atlantic City NJ back when they first started gambling there in the late 70\'s. He worked with mostly electronic machines but became interested in vintage mechanical slots. The only reason he sold me the vest pocket was because he had about 3-4 others. I did buy an owners manual for this machine but we just recently moved and I am unable to find it. If I do come across it I will ship out to you free of charge. 

Its dimensions are 8\" X 8\" X 7\" and is heavy about 19 pounds maybe a little more since I did leave a few nickels in it.

Also, with the machine I am including about 40 buffalo nickels that are in pretty good condition, meaning that you can read the dates on all of them. I have seen people selling buffalo\'s and the date is totally worn off. The value of the nickels is only about $20. I am including them because it\'s been reported that the very pocket machines can jam up when using newer nickels. I have not had this issue, before I heard about it I had used newer nickels and never had a jam. I did change over to just using the buffalo\'s when I heard about it just to make sure.

Please see all the pictures and use the zoom function for more detail you will see that this machine is in great condition for not being restored. I will say that I cannot guarantee that it was not restored I can only go by what the collector told me and after seeing his collection I believe him.
