1933 World Wide Gum uncut first series baseball sheet
From the V353 Canadian Goudey series - includes 7 Hall of Famers!

This magnificent, uncut, 1933 World Wide Gum baseball sheet comprises 24 different players including seven Hall of Famers (Dazzy Vance, Paul Waner, Jimmie Foxx, Tony Lazzeri, Al Simmons, Heinie Manush, and Frank Frisch). It is in remarkable shape and remains preserved with the same qualities--vivid imagery, original colors, and perfectly registration--as when it was first printed and bound.

The two binding holes are located near the upper left hand corner and the lower left hand corner and help to identify the sheet as the CLM file copy. There is very light creasing and some wear near the corners and between the two binding holes. Overall, the condition is very much superior to most uncut sheets that are offered from this time period as the majority of the interior cards are in near-perfect or perfect condition.

If professionally cut, the following cards would each grade either Mint or Gem Mint: #27 George Connally, #28 Dick Bartell, #29 Jimmy Foxx, #30 Frank Hogan, #31 Tony Lazzeri, #33 Ralph Kress, #34 Bob O\'Farrell, #35 Al Simmons, #45 Larry Benton, #46 Ethan Allen, #48 Marty McManus, #49, Frank Frisch, #50 Ed Brandt, and #51 Charlie Grimm. There are other cards which would also grade high, but the previous 14 are all in pristine shape without any discernable wear.

Obtained directly from a man, who, in 1957, rescued it from the garbage when Consolidated Lithographic Manufacturing (CLM) of Quebec was cleaning out its files following its purchase by Somerville. According to the owner, all but a small number of other uncut World Wide sheets were discarded and this was the unique example of this series which was saved. To the best of our knowledge, which includes an extensive hobby survey, either this sheet is one of two known (according to an unverified claim), or one-of-a-kind.
