1910s Ty Cobb Single Signed Official Ban Johnson Baseball Playing Days PSA & SGC For Sale

This is a bold 1910\'s Single Signed Ty Cobb Official American League Ban Johnson Baseball. Full letters of authentications from both PSA (AB03485) and SGC (AU78446).   While single signed Ty Cobb balls are scarce, the rarity and desirability increase significantly when we can definitively date the signature to the Georgia Peach\'s playing days.  Such is the case with this OAL Johnson baseball which very likely saw action in a Tigers game. This is one of the earliest known Ty Cobb signed baseballs.

Ty Cobb was elected to the inaugural Hall of Fame class in 1936.   He still holds the highest career batting average at .367 and the most career batting titles at 12.  Often ranked in the top 3 players to ever play the game, Ty Cobb set 90 MLB records during his career (1905-1928).   Ty Cobb was the all time hit leader with 4191 until Pete Rose surpassed his mark in 1985.
