DESCRIPTION

Issued between 1910-1912 as tobacco premiums under the Sweet Caporal brand were this set of 205 pins featuring the diamond stars of the day. Measuring 7/8” in diameter, they feature sepiatone portraits. The offered pin is of New York Giants star pitcher, Christy Mathewson, the pin is in excellent to mint in condition and has its original paper back advertising. A hundred-year old souvenir of Matty who was one of the game’s true elite on and off the field.

WE SHIP via USPS. In general, For U.S. and CANADA: small-sized and flat items weighing less than 13 ounces, such as photographs, cards, or pins will be shipped via 1st Class. Other items will be shipped via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Insurance is MANDATORY on packages valued at over $100. For INTERNATIONAL Destinations, Packages over $50 will be sent via USPS International Priority Mail. Packages over $200 must be sent via USPS International Express Mail with tracking (as only Express Mail is insured and trackable for international packages).
