This is an unbelievable baseball card artifact.
I'm not necessarily looking to sell these sheets, but has some free listing promotions currently so I decided to list a few of my more rare items.
This is for a complete progressive proof portfolio of 11 uncut 66-card sheets from the 1982 Fleer baseball series, which includes the #576 John Littlefield "Pitching Lefty" error card. It therefore has 11 different John Littlefield error cards. This also has 2 of the proof cards - Willie Wilson and Darrell Jackson. Willie Wilson's picture was ultimately changed for the issued card, while the Darrell Jackson card is an entirely different player altogether. I've taken pictures of some of the more interesting cards and some of the colored sheets as well.
This is the actual production portfolio used by the Fleer art department to finalize designs and check colors for its 660-card set. Fleer artists have made numerous notations in the margins of the top sheet (which represents the final color process), including changing certain colors and selecting two poses to be replaced by new player images. Included in the portfolio of eleven sheets (which are attached along the left border by heavy-duty staples) are sheets representing each color-process printing stage, including individual blue, magenta, and yellow stages, various combinations of color processes, and a final process with black ink applied. Each sheet is blank-backed and arranged in six rows of eleven cards. Interestingly, Fleer organized the sheets by team, so the offered portfolio features only players from the Cardinals, Padres, Royals, Tigers, and Twins. Outstanding Ex condition with tremendous display value. This is a fascinating and unique portfolio which offers great insight into the production process and would be a significant addition to any Fleer, uncut-sheet, or card-production collection. Dimensions: 29 x 23 inches. Total: 11 sheets
