ThisSenna figure goes together with the MansellsetI\'m selling in another sale.

When Senna,Mansell and a Tamiya FW14B areput together,theydepict the scene whichoccurred inthe 1991BRITISH GP at SILVERSTONE:In this race, Senna\'s Mclaren MP4/6 ended up not completing the racefromlack of fuel andNigel Mansellwas kind enough to stop and giveSenna a liftback to the pits on hisWilliams FW14. This practice was actually quite common in the 1990s but rest assured that this would never happen in today\'sultra-safe F1 events.

The Tamiya 1/12 Williams model is actually an FW14B and varies slightly from the FW14.My conversion set will correct this problem if you are concerned about complete accuracy.

The helmet is an accurate rendition of the RHEOS helmet and as a bonus,I\'ve evensculpted afaceof Senna inside the helmet!The helmetcomes witha clearvisor.

This figure\"sits\" perfectly on theTamiya FW14B model because duringthe sculpting process (beforethe puttyfullycured),I\"draped\" the still-pliable figureonto theFW14B chassis and left it in placeto fully hardened in the correctpose. Thistechnique isverylabor intensive because it is atrial and error process. But the effect is extremely realistic.I tried slipping a piece of paper between the figure the FW14 chassisand it would not fit!

This pieceis simply amazing to behold in person when properly assembled and painted as a set.It will easily become the centerpieceof your mode collection!

The Senna model comes in 4 piecesandincludesall of the appropriatesuit and helmet sponsor/logos(water slide decals)to replicate the Silverstone scene(a non-tobacco event).
