Alfredo Villasana worked for both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar before opening his own workshop. The pitcher measures 11\" tall, to top of bird 15\'. Marked VILLASANA COBRE PLATEADO MEXICO TAXCO. In excellent condition, though copper shows some, but adds to the patina of the piece. This is an exquisite and monumental pitcher.
