WWII / WW2 U.S. Army, U.S. Military, CASE, Survival Knife, w/ Compass inside of Pommel, Excellent Condition. Original WWII U.S. Army, U.S. Military used CASE SURVIVAL Knife with original Leather Sheath. The CASE Survival Knife has a screw-off pommel cap which contains a small Compass mounted onto the inside of the Pommel Cap and still has the original water-proof gasket. The Compass is in perfect working condition and has no cracks or damage. The Handle of the Survival Knife is hollow to allow for matches or other survival gear to be stored inside of the Knife handle (see picture). The Knife is in excellent condition and is nice and tight. The Blade is in great condition with its original finish and has no nicks or dings along the edge. The leather handle is also in excellent condition. The Blade measures about 5” inches in length. The entire CASE Survival Knife measures just over 9 1/2” inches in length. The original brown leather sheath is in excellent condition and has a nice tooled leather front.
