Vintage Alvarez F-style mandolin. From my research, this model was manufactured between \'82 and \'88 and I believe was the 800 series. True to Alvarez fashion, there is no model number on the mandolin. It is in great condition and only has a few minor surface scratches. I have been trying to do some more research on this mandolin to find out more info. It seems that since there is vine inlay on the fretboard, it is probably an A900 model, Alvarez\'s top-of-the-line model. So, I guess it may be a little better quality instument than I thought. Hope this helps.
