Steven began as a silversmithin 1974 and is listed in both of Barton\'s Hallmarks of the Southwest & Hopi Silver

As silver prices have gone up in recent years and due to the changes on the mesa\'s fewer and fewer Hopi jewelry is being produced

Fewer and fewer young people are learning the craft and the once thriving industry is getting smaller and prices have gone up substantially as all Hopi jewelry is considered highly collectable

This pendant is 100% hand made by the artist and was purchased directly on the Hopi reservation.
