Grant Lester Dunlap (December 20, 1923 – September 10, 2014) was an AmericanMLB player. Nicknamed \"Snap\", he played in 16 games for theST LOUIS CARDINALSin 1953. Originally signed at the age of 17 by theCINCINNATI REDSin 1941, it took Dunlap twelve years (during part of which he served in the Marine Corps during and after World War II) to reach the major leagues.

In his brief major league career, Dunlap served primarily as a PINCH HITTER, garnering sixHITS in 17 AB\'S, including oneTRIPLE and one HR. He did play one game as aRF but made no plays in the field. Dunlap is a member of theSTOCKTONCA Sports Hall of Fame for achievements in both baseball and basketball. He died in 2014 in VISTA, CA
